Festival international de la photographie de mode - Posted on June 12th, 2009

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it for the opening party but I wish I could. One of my photograph should be hanging in a street of Cannes during this summer, selected by the Festival International de La Photographie de Mode. I'll send a copy of the IFM catalogue, I've made years ago (still a very nice book), to the first person that'll send me a good shot of my photograph in Cannes. No kidding.

TL Magazine

Somehow, I was asked by a design magazine to shoot a serie of photograhs presenting textiles and furnitures, from belgian designers ' new collections, for some special portfolio due to be released during the Milan Design Fair. I mixed everything, dresses, model, chairs and lamps in a big blender set in a studio, added some special spices taken from souvenirs and voilà! Anyway, I received "carte blanche".

Will it blend? Watch out for the big titanium mirror.

Walking in your shoes... - Posted on April 24th, 2009

Walking in your shoes...

Walking in your shoes...

And thieve your identity? Looks weird, written like this, doesn't it? So, it's about a misplaced shoot for a belgian magazine. Beauty and shoes, as sold to the fashion editor. I read somewhere that's a new trend for a fashion photographer is to perform also as model. The dresses didn't really fit me well, neither the shoes but I managed though to stand in the picture. A start for a new carreer?

Down the Rivière (de diamants) - Posted on March 6th, 2009

Once, I tried to play according to the rule of classification in photography and put myself into a straight jewels photoshoot. I don't know if I passed the test but the guy from Tiffany's failed! Nohandcuffsto secure the jewels suitcase? Come on! You're trashing my professional fantasy!

For unepileptic viewers, here's one youtube report with sounds and moving images included.

Old news - Posted on March 6th, 2009

Have just found back this flick in a drawer of forgoten hard drive, aired centuries ago on belgian TV. I'm still laughing out loud if I'm actually listening to what I was saying. How time flew away! How happened that I'm not taking as much portraits as I used to do?

People of the web (let's be more precise: you, facebook user!), you may now support my modest person through facebook pages. What do you get from it? Nothing except some more spam from the outter web space. Anyway, I would be delighted to have you in those special salons.

I'm not used to publish scans of pages from magazines but there is a start for everything. I shot recently an editorial serie for belgium magazine Goedele and they have this habit to spread few words about their collaborators. My wife laughed a lot when she discovered the picture I sent as my portrait. Well, first publication of a picture taken by an iphone camera. Let's celebrate!
